About us

Juniper Training has been delivering training programmes to both young people and adults for over 25 years, and currently has 10 delivery locations across the Black Country, Staffordshire, Shropshire and Derbyshire. 

Juniper Training has recently been awarded by OFSTED a Grade 2 (Good) for Overall Effectiveness, Capacity to Improve and Leadership and Management (September 2010).
 
Juniper Training has also achieved accreditation for the IAG Matrix Standard (November 2010).
 
We support our customers to improve their vocational, employability and life skills through the delivery of personalised training programmes, so that our customers are best placed to secure sustainable employment. We know from experience that during these tough economic times the development of these skills is even more important than ever before. 
 
Juniper Training also aims to provide up to date and comprehensive information, advice and guidance on a wealth of education and employment opportunities for young people and adults. Our staff are dedicated to providing a first rate and confidential service to all, offering impartial information, advice and guidance in relation to learning and work.

      Course description

      A free training programme for 16 - 18 year olds to gain the skills and qualifications to progress into Aprrenticeships and employment. Whether you are looking for hairdressing or mechanics, retail or construction, Juniper can support you into your chosen career whatever that career may be, Our experienced, qualified staff will support you through your qualifications and help you with any issues you may have.

      Course content

      You will have an opportunity to either improve your existing English and Maths grades or obtain some qualifications in English and Maths if you have left school without any. You will then progress onto a job, apprenticeship or further education - the choice is yours.

      You can claim up to £40 per week Bursary (conditions apply) plus other additional benefits
