Our courses provide hands-on training and real-life experience to prepare you for whatever lies ahead. Catering students run our award-winning Rouge restaurant, business students secure internships with top companies like Barclays and Lloyds Bank, creative students perform in our brand-new 250-seat theatrebeauty students work with real clients at the Ilford Skills Academy,sports students practice at UEL SportsDock and Redbridge Leisure Centre. Wherever you turn, you’ll see students getting involved in what they love to do, in a professional environment with teachers who work in the industry.

We are proud of our high success rates and many awards and accolades. Last year, our Compass director was awarded Outstanding Teacher of the Year at the National BTEC Awards. Our Applied Science department enjoys a 98% success rate, with 92% of UCAS applicants getting accepted to top-tier universities including King’s College, Queen Mary University, Durham University and many more. Our Hospitality and Catering department has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and proves it by managing large-scale events around London throughout the year.

About us

Redbridge College is a vocational college offering a wide range of courses to 3,000 students across two campuses in Chadwell Heath and Ilford Town Centre in Northeast London.

Our mission is ‘to inspire, develop and provide the opportunity for all Redbridge College students and staff to succeed.’

As part of this mission, we have now have innovative leaning companies within a number of curriculum areas, where students work on real client briefs, giving them practical experience direct with industry and fully prepare them to move onto an array of future career opportunities, or for progression onto Higher Education.

Fantastic new facilities are now open at our Chadwell Heath Campus, with the completion of our new 250-seat theatre for use by Performing Arts students, as well as college and community events, a stunning new courtyard, reception area and classrooms built for hi-tech learning to truly make Redbridge College a state-of-the-art educational destination.

Facilities available

From salons to sports fields, Redbridge College has a range of facilities to meet the needs of every student. See what 21st century learning can be in our state-of-the-art, hi-tech i-Zone and get the support you need to excel in class in the Brook Centre.

We have commercially run companies within the college where students learn in real-life work environments and customers receive high quality services at a great rate. Creative Arts students work with The Blue Orange Learning Company and Hair and Beauty students work at the Ilford Skills Academy and Urban Oasis Salons.

Redbridge College also offers facilities rentals at both of our campuses for your next office gathering or group event at competitive rates with a range of additional services available.

Additional support

Our Learning Support team is based in our brand new study area, the Brook Centre, and can help you succeed at college! We offer:

  • Academic support to develop your study skills
  • Strategies to improve motivation, focus and concentration
  • Assistive technology training, including useful apps
  • Dyslexia assessment and support
