Welcome to Seven Kings School

I am extremely proud to be the Executive Headteacher at seven Kings School.  Our school has a long tradition of providing outstanding education to our local community and I am delighted that we are now an all through school with children form the ages of 4 to 18

At Seven Kings School we strive for excellence in every aspect of our work. The ideas contained in the school motto, "Friendship Excellence and Opportunity" guide our efforts. We work hard to provide a safe and happy environment within which every student can grow and achieve personal, social and academic success. We believe that Seven Kings can make a radical difference to the life chances of our students and that we can help nurture confident, active and socially responsible citizens. We are proud of our inclusive approach, which is informed by the principle that a stimulating and personalised education is an entitlement for every child. The harmonious ethos and outstanding relationships underpin all that we do and provide the foundation for the school's work and success.

The support of our whole school community; children, families and staff, is vitally important to our continued success and I look forward to meeting you and working with you.

About us

Starting your post 16 studies is a really exciting time and making the choice about where and what to study is probably one of the most important decisions you will have made so far in your educational career…and so you have to get it right!

Our Sixth Form provides an outstanding experience and we are confident you will achieve the success you want to enable you to go on to the next stage with confidence. We offer a range of courses and a programme of enrichment and support that will hopefully make your time at Seven Kings High School a positive, rewarding, challenging and enjoyable one.

We have an excellent team of staff whose aim is to provide the best possible education for you. Our teaching has been judged to be outstanding and our results speak for themselves; we were delighted to be in the list of the top 200 state schools in the country for A Level results this year. We also aim to develop in you the skills and values that will enable you to grow as an individual and provide you with the foundation for further success. Our Sixth Form provides a time for learning to accept challenge and responsibility, a time for investigating ideas and for developing initiative and self-discipline.

We have very high expectations of you and will provide the challenge and support for you to meet them; the opportunity is yours.

We welcome all new students from other schools who wish to join our Sixth Form to continue their studies. Of the 500 students in the Sixth Form about 200 have joined from other schools. Please look at the website for more information about the application process and our school.

Being a Sixth Form student should be fun, demanding, hard work, exciting and liberating and wherever you chose to study I wish you every success.

Good Luck!
