Welcome to Nightingale Academy

May we take this opportunity to offer you a very warm welcome to Nightingale Academy, an AET sponsored academy.  I feel immensely privileged to have been appointed as the principal of such a highly professional team of staff and some incredibly exceptional students.  Nightingale is a culturally and ethnically vibrant community that is committed to succeeding in our journey to be an outstanding school, in the heart of Enfield, which secures the highest possible standards.

Our aim is to create an inclusive learning community where every learner, regardless of their ability, excels and fulfils their potential.   We hold a passionate belief in the power of learning at the heart of the Academy’s practice.  Our aims are to equip young people for fulfilling lives by growing and sustaining strong self-esteem, good interpersonal skills and confidence as independent learners.  With all our students, we aim to motivate and raise their expectations.  This is in addition to securing the highest standards of teaching and learning.

We believe in forming strong partnerships with our local community, parents, businesses, universities and local employers, to enhance the learner experience and promote with the students that nothing but their best will do.

We hope that the website provides a unique picture of some of the enriching curricular and extra-curricular activities which our community promotes and engages in.  If you would like to know more, then please contact the Academy.
