Welcome to Wallington County Grammar School

About us

Since opening in 1927, parents have chosen us, not only because of our high academic standards and wealth of extra-curricular activities, but also because we create a positive educational environment which promotes a firm belief that every child will reach their personal best. Through a precise set of three core values, ‘Self-discipline, Endeavour and Excellence’, which are the backbone of the School, we openly promote a single concept of 100% and develop well-rounded and grounded young adults who demonstrate leadership attributes which will have an impact on a global scale. At Wallington, we give all students the opportunity to explore their aspirations from a young age and support them to go on to the best universities. The School Motto, ‘Per Ardua ad Summa’ (Through difficulties to the heights), is achieved through a shared culture and ethos and the support given to our students means that they are truly the most eloquent testimony to the success of our School.
