Welcome to Access Creative College

Access is a national creative college offering a great creative alternative to sixth form or a large regional college.

Whether you want to be a performer, a producer, a games designer, a composer, a sound engineer, a photographer, a music entrepreneur or graphic designer, we have a course to suit you.

We understand the passion our students have for their creativity. We understand the drive and determination to master an instrument, or a piece of software or hardware. We recognise the ambitions of people who want to be the future of the creative industries.

By choosing Access Creative College you are making your first steps to stand out from the crowd by putting your passion first.

About us

Our Vision Statement:
To be the leading college for the creative industries.

Our Mission Statement:
To develop the next generation of creatives through innovative, practical, employment-led training.

Since 1992 Access to Music has provided quality music training to thousands of musicians across the UK, equipping them also with valuable employability and life skills.

Now known as Acces, the college is expanding into the wider creative industries, embracing digital media, games design, and digital marketing with the aim of becoming a national creative college.

Access has an expanding network of centres located across England. It currently employs around 250 people.

Access has a real presence in the creative industries which provides students with the opportunity to engage safely in industry practice.

Facilities available

Facilities vary from centre to centre, but most centres have fully-equipped band rehearsal rooms, Apple Mac technology suites, media suites, games labs and recording studios. Some also have dedicated performance spaces.

Additional support

Access provides full additional support for all learners requiring it. Our centres are small, friendly places where there is an excellent culture of support.

Over half our students go on to higher education, while others go on to work in the music and creative industries. Former students include Ed Sheeran and Rita Ora.
