Welcome to The Marsh Academy
The Marsh Academy opened in September 2007 and is currently undergoing a multi-million pound refurbishment to give state of the art facilities for Science, Technology and English. The Academy is linked with Microsoft, Tonbridge Public School and Folkestone
School for Girls. These links enable us to attract high quality teaching and joint activities involving all partners. Therefore, some of the courses on offer may be held at sites other than the Marsh Academy.
We encourage students to stay on for Post-16 studies in our Sixth Form. We offer a wide range of academic and vocational subjects and have dedicated Sixth Form facilities separate from the rest of the school. There are also many extra-curricular enrichment
activities in which students may participate, including work experience and voluntary work in the local community.
The destinations of our Post-16 students are varied, and we work hard to provide students with the skills they will need when they have left school - whether that is to go on to university or further education, or to go straight into the world of work.
Whilst the Academy will do its best to provide each applicant with their preferred subject combinations this might not be possible in all cases. Subjects listed on this site are subject to change depending on class sizes.
