We are a long established, mixed Sixth Form with a proven track record of excellent results. This wealth of experience allows us to offer the highest quality provision in a dynamic, stimulating and supportive learning environment.
Our curriculum offers one of the most diverse learning programmes among local schools. With specialisms in Performing and Visual Arts, we offer a wide variety of subjects, which include both traditional and vocational courses. From A Levels and BTECs, to Diplomas our range of courses caters for all interests, abilites and ambitions.
General entry requirements are Grade 4 in English and Maths, plus 3 other GCSE at grade 4 or above (A*-C) is the minimum requirement to study three Level 3 qualifications at Hillview Sixth Form.
Academic entry requirements are Grade 5 in both English and Maths plus students will need to achieve the subject specific entrey requirements and have an average GCSE poont score of 4.25 or above.
If students demonstrate an aptitude for a specific subject, but do not quite reach our entry criteria, we are more than happy to discuss whether there is an appropriate pathway for them to follow at Hillview.
In order to access the full range of courses available in the Sixth Form, an average point score of 4.25 is required.
Students with an average point score below 4.25 will make their subject selection from a tailored range of courses.

The school's examination results are excellent and the Sixth Form is hugely popular with both existing Hillview students and those from other schools.
Applications open on Thursday 2 November 2017 at Midnight.
The closing date is Friday 5 January 2018 at Midnight.
Some subjects have additional entry requirements which are identified in the course description. In addition, certain subjects may request that students attend a suitability interview or aptitude test.
Entry requirements are subject to change and entry to the Sixth Form may be considered subject to agreed conditions. Hillview Sixth Form reserves the right to tailor an individual student's programme of study based on their average point score. The school decision in this matter is final
Hillview reserves the right to alter specifications or withdraw unviable courses. Decisions about course viability will be made following the closing date for applications on 30 November 2016. The School will communicate the withdrawal of any courses to parents and students at the earliest opportunity.
Our students benefit enormously from clear, comprehensive and impartial careers advice from our full-time onsite Employability and Careers Advisor. This year saw our highest number of university applications to date, with close to 100% of students achieving their first choice of university and many others progressing onto exciting career and apprenticeship pathways.
