Thank you for your interest in FutureSkills @ MediaCityUK.

FutureSkills offers courses that are designed to give students the opportunity to progress directly into employment, as well as university or further training routes. The provision offered is unique and gives students opportunities to work closely with employers.

The centre has a unique, modern and vibrant feel and is very much about preparing students for the next stage of their career.

Alongside the variety of skills-based courses offered at the centre, we also provide a vast apprenticeship provision for those who prefer to earn whilst you learn.

Those studying Creative Music have opportunities to gain further skills through our Roland Music Academy and Apple Authorised Training Centre and those on our AAT Young Professionals course have access to paid internships.

What makes the centre so innovative and exciting is the way that the training is linked directly to the industry. All of our courses give you an opportunity to gain prestigious work experience which puts you in the best position for employment or promotion.

    • FutureSkills is a superb new state of the art centre based in the heart of MediaCityUK – a leading international hub for Creative and Digital sectors. The centre offers specialist courses in Music production and performance, AAT, Hospitality, Professional Construction and a wide range of apprenticeships. MediaCityUK is a vibrant place in which to study, live and socialise. Home to major BBC and ITV departments, MediaCityUK is recognised as one of the most innovative developments in Britain. Those studying at MediaCityUK love the atmosphere, range of facilities, cafes, restaurants, shops and world class events that take place – it really is an exciting place to be a part of. Many learners get the opportunity to be involved in activities at MediaCityUK including work experience at the Damson Restaurant, singing at Damson for themed evenings and entertaining large crowds at festivals. The opening of FutureSkills 2 from September 2014 will also see the launch of Media provision – specialising in production for TV, radio and film.
