Welcome to Nailsea School

Nailsea School is a fantastic place to work and learn.

We are not just another school; we are a community that demonstrates a common purpose - to ensure the very best for each and every one of our students. We are a school that recognises every student has their own individual strengths, gifts and talents and our aim is to ensure that these are all developed to their full potential.

We care deeply about not only the academic development of our students but also their emotional and personal development. Our school organisation has this commitment at its heart with a very close knit House structure. These successful Houses divide our large school into four small “family” units. This close knit family approach means that our school is small enough to care, but large enough to provide specialist staff and top class facilities.

I hope you find our website informative and gain a real insight into the amazing experiences and successes of our students.

If you are a prospective parent, we would like to invite you to visit our school to form your own judgement. Please contact our reception team who will be happy to arrange this for you. Thank you for your interest in our school.

About us

At Nailsea School, we believe that the best way for us to support our students is to work together with parents, governors, local primary schools, employers and local organisations

From the moment a student and their parents/carers choose Nailsea School we work tirelessly to support the transition to Nailsea.  Our transition team provide a series of opportunities for prospective students to visit the school to meet staff and students and gain a taste of secondary life.
