Welcome to Bristol Rovers Community Trust

Originally launched in 1992 as part of the PFA’s nationwide Football in the Community initiative to encourage children to play football and support their local club; the Community Trust has evolved, achieving charitable status in 2001, six years later coming under the governance of the Football League Trust and can now offer projects t+o people aged from 4 to over 80 years old.
Bristol Rovers Community Trust works with a wide spectrum of the community offering social inclusion, health, education and sports participation projects to give people the opportunity of enhancing and improving their life choices.
The rebranding from Football in the Community to Community Trust has been undertaken to reflect the evolution of the projects and activities delivered over the last 20 years and will help reinforce the status as an independent charity.

To provide the Futsal & Education Scholarship, the Trust works in connection with Swindon Academy to provide a post 16 qualification that can gain you entry into universities in the UK & further afield.
If you are aged 16-18 you are able to complete a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sport whilst training and representing Bristol Rovers in the Football League Trust Futsal League.
The BTEC gives participants the opportunity to achieve the equivalent to 3 A Levels by covering a wide range of sporting sub topics such as Sport as a Business and The Physiology of Sport.
The course is taught by a fully qualified teacher and individuals are expected to do more home study to keep work at reasonable standards. The individuals will also be coached daily by fully qualified Bristol Rovers Community coaches with them developing skills easily transferable to the 11 aside game and making you an improved football.
