Welcome to Okehampton College

Welcome to Okehampton College, where traditional values, contemporary aspirations and creative curiosity underpin our pursuit of excellence.

Visitors to the College often comment on the calmness and positive ethos of the College which is based on the excellent relationship between staff and students. We are a safe, caring community where students and staff can develop their full potential academically, professionally and personally.

Our green and sustainable agenda also factors highly in our thinking and planning. We made a commitment to support all of the schools within the Learning Community to reduce their energy bills and develop renewable energy systems. This work has received regional, national and international acclaim. We are very proud of this recognition and status.

The College has made remarkable progress in recent years. The reputation of the school in the South West grows from strength to strength. Our constant driver is the delivery of excellent teaching and learning across the school. We are always testing and pushing forward initiatives to help us be the best we can be as a school. It is a time of great change and we want our student to be well prepared for a happy and productive future.

We are always pleased to welcome visitors to our school to have a look around, please do not hesitate to contact us. Daryll Chapman - Principal
