Welcome to East Norfolk Sixth Form College

EN is an outstanding place for you to study and I am proud and excited to be the Principal.

My priority is to build upon EN’s legacy of success. It is after all our consistent record of outstanding achievement that sets us apart. As one of three Sixth Form Colleges locally, we believe we offer a unique learning environment and a college experience that is unrivalled for over 33 years.

We have a reputation for being creative, innovative and providing students with pathways to new and exciting opportunities that they never imagined. Our pledge is to help students work with our staff and their parents and carers to achieve the highest standards possible.

Our students continue to succeed at levels well above the national rates and students completing their A-Levels are performing higher than the national rates for Sixth Form Colleges which is a fantastic achievement. Our AS students and BTECs achieve excellence too and the progress our students make from GCSE to the time they leave EN puts the college in the top 25% for value added in the country.

Our ambition for all of our students is very simple. We want you to thrive at EN and achieve your full potential so that you can progress to the next exciting stage of your career, whether that is university, employment, apprenticeship or other training course.

Come and see for yourself why EN is the college of choice for over 1700 students. We will be delighted to welcome you to one of our Open Days or Information Evenings. I very much look forward to meeting you all.

Dr Catherine Richards

 Principal

About us

East Norfolk is a vibrant and successful sixth form college and the college of choice for 1700 students.

Based in the very heart of Gorleston, the College campus is just a few minutes’ walk from the bustling high street and the fantastic sandy beach.

Our students travel from all over Norfolk and North Suffolk - from North Walsham to Southwold. They are attracted to EN because of our outstanding reputation for success, which has been built up over 33 years.

EN offers an unrivalled curriculum with over 80 A Level and BTEC subjects at Level 3 and Level 2. The curriculum is constantly evolving, and with some of the best teachers around supporting their learning, students can be assured of success.

The college consistently features in the Top 20 of all colleges nationally and currently has a 98.3% A Level pass rate. For 8 years in a row, EN held the title of top college for sport for the whole of the East of England.

East Norfolk Sixth Form College is elite, but not elitist. Make EN your number one choice.

Facilities available

In recent years, over £8 million has been invested into the EN campus. The Poulson and Gentry buildings offer a modern learning environment for our students. The state of the art Newman building comprises an open access digital design suite, two photographic editing suites with darkroom facilities, a 3 dimensional design studio and workshop and specialist classrooms for graphic design, fine art and textiles. This development takes the college’s visual arts courses even more strongly into the digital age, maintaining its reputation as an outstanding provider of creative arts courses.
