Welcome to Garibaldi College

Our Mission:

"To create a supportive and caring learning community that gives all of our students the confidence and opportunity to achive and prepare them for a successful adult life."

I am extremely proud to be the Head Teacher of Garibaldi College. We are a high achieving school at all levels. Ofsted judged us as good in all areas with some evidence of outstanding teaching. Students from Garibaldi College attend the best universities and are highly successful in the workplace. We encourage our students to be proud of themselves, the college and their community. We expect them to have respect for others and as a result they achieve well.

We have worked hard to develop a Sixth Form that is both supportive and challenging. We recognise how competitive the workplace is and we understand the skills that young people need to compete in a global market. The Sixth Form is set up to enable all students to develop these skills. We have a proven track record of raising aspirations and helping students to achieve their goals.

Students at Garibaldi College Sixth Form are taught by experienced and successful teachers. We know that our students still need the level of support they received when they were younger. However, we also recognise that as young adults, our students are ready to develop more independence and take on more responsibility. We help them to take ownership of their learning and we prepare them for a successful adult life.

I am delighted that you have taken an interest in Garibaldi College Sixth Form. I hope that you find this prospectus useful in making the right choice for your future.
