New College Stamford offers education and training to over 2,000 students every year providing a huge range of courses to suit everyone – A Levels, vocational, part-time adult courses, apprenticeships, higher education and professional training for businesses tailored to both individuals and employers.

We sit at the heart of the region’s schools and business network providing skills and knowledge training to boost the economic prosperity of our local community. Our outstanding reputation for student support and achievement coupled with superb facilities and resources provides students with an outstanding learning environment and progression opportunities.

Facilities available

Gain real skills and experiences studying in our facilities including professional workshops, recording studios, salons, animal habitats and kitchens.

If you are interested in Sport or Public Services you will have the opportunity to study in our impressive £multi-million Borderville Sports Centre which boasts a FIFA rated football pitch.

Be the first to study in our BRAND NEW Construction and Motor Vehicle Skills Centre, which replicates real trade workshops to provide you will all the professional tools, equipment and experiences you will need to develop real skills for the working world. 

Additional support

Learner services are here to help you throughout your time at college and when you start to think about progression. They are also here to help with your application to college, if you want to speak to a Learner Services Advisor call 01780 484311 they are happy to help. 

Our Performance Coaches are here to support you with your course and everyday concerns, they are your first point of contact. They will also liaise with you parents and staff to ensure you get the best from your time at college.

You will also have access to qualified and experience careers advisors to help you with applying to university, organising an Apprenticeship and finding a path to your dream career. They are also available for advice on student finance, CV writing, gap years and finding a job.  

If you are worried about revision, your English and maths, or need extra help because of a learning difficulty or disability, we have a dedicated team and learning resources to support your studying in class or on a one-to-one basis. 

Our financial support could support your with the essential course related costs such as materials, transport and uniform dependent on your household income. If you meet the required criteria, you may be eligible to receive a free meal for the days you are in college.
