Welcome to Rushcliffe School

Rushcliffe Sixth Form provides students with opportunities to excel in their A level subjects and progress to good universities. We pride ourselves on the high quality of our teaching and the exam results achieved in a variety of academic subjects.

Rushcliffe Sixth Form is a vibrant, exciting place to study. We have an amazing group of young people in our school and we are always thrilled that so many of them wish to carry on their studies in our Sixth Form. Not only is Rushcliffe Sixth Form a centre of academic excellence, where students leave for the best courses in the best universities, but we also use our vast experience of dealing with A Level students and their difficulties to help and guide students if and when they need extra support. The path to success is often filled with stresses and hurdles to overcome, but you can be sure that we have the understanding and expertise to guide your son or daughter to the next stage, whether that be university, apprenticeship or employment.

For us, Sixth Form life is a lot more than just academic study. We encourage all of the students to play a full and active part in life at Rushcliffe School. There is an exciting Enrichment programme for Year 12, the EPQ project, General Studies, the opportunity to work as a Student Leader across the school, charity work, the chance to lead activities in the local community and many sporting opportunities. We actively encourage the students to take more responsibility in the Sixth Form, from being a prefect to being part a group of student ambassadors in the curriculum subject areas.

We feel passionately that the Sixth Form experience should be more than successfully completing the A level examinations. Maybe this is why our students enjoy their time here and wholly recommend it to others.
