Welcome to Yateley School

We are enormously proud of our school and what it achieves for our students. We know that choosing the right school for your child is a great responsibility. We want to give you the information you need to decide to make us your first choice. If you want to talk about anything to do with the school, whether it’s covered in this brochure or not, call us. You’re very welcome to come and visit us, meet our students and staff and see us in action.

We expect our teachers and support staff to be outstanding role models, inspiring, nurturing and celebrating the talents and aspirations of every student. We want our students to be happy and confident, keen about learning, and enthusiastic about tackling new challenges, so they develop into well rounded, creative individuals who can contribute effectively to their communities. At Yateley School, every student is challenged to achieve his or her best academically and personally, and has the opportunity to participate in the wide variety of activities we provide. We have close links with our feeder schools and we are oversubscribed.

Our examination results at GCSE are well above the national average. We are unique in north Hampshire in having an integrated Sixth Form and the majority of our students choose to stay with us for Years 12 & 13, with most then progressing into Higher Education. We are a Performing Arts Specialist College and achieve excellence in Art, Music, Dance and Drama. Of course we aim for excellence in Sport and all other areas too! In this, our outstanding facilities give us a huge advantage.
