West Kent College in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells offers you a wide choice of courses for a fantastic learning experience. Facilities available

Our Tonbridge campus boasts bespoke high quality resources and facilities. A number of our facilities are open to the public and are run in association with our students, providing them with real-life work experience. These include hair and beauty salons and The View restaurant, which is located on the top floor with views over the Weald.

The College has specialist facilities for all of our course areas, so whatever you're studying you will be learning on the latest equipment in the best facilities. Our Learning Resource Centres offer an extensive library, comfortable study areas, computer bays with internet access and a range of jorunals in hard copy and online. 

Additional support

West Kent College offers the highest level of support every step of the way and our Student Support Services team can help with a range of issues.

  • Careers advisors are on hand to offer impartial, professional advice and guidance to help you plan your future.
  • Additional Learning Support work with students who have Education Health Care (EHC) plans and others with varying needs, including physical, sensory, dyslexia, autism and health problems.
  • We encourage the use of public transport, car sharing and cycling, with our campuses well served by local buses and trains.

      Tonbridge campus

      At the Tonbridge campus, students benefit from new buildings including a fantastic theatre seating over 300, television and radio studios, light and airy design studios, photography studios and darkrooms, music rehearsal rooms and recording studios.

      Students can enjoy the latest technology, such as leading-edge IT facilities, a Learning Resource Centre with over 20,000 resources and new science laboratories.

      There is also a range of facilities open to staff, students and the public, including hairdressing and beauty salons and a restaurant with a view over the Weald.
