Knowsley Community College prides itself on great results and close working relationships with employers. You are visiting this website because you are interested in getting on and getting ahead – whether that is to University, into an Apprenticeship or into a Job.

Our approach to teaching is to help you understand new concepts, experience new subjects and to support you to explore your own learning around specific projects. Over the next 12 months you will have a chance to come and visit the College, get to know your future tutors and hear about our extensive ranges of Vocational courses available.


Our Centre of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing and Technology at Princess Drive provides an outstanding facility to support you to progress into a wide range of technology based careers and the Main campus provides a wide selection of programmes from Level 1 to degree level so that you can carry on your studies at College.

Our friendly staff are here to make your student experience at KCC a memorable one, including our dedicated Learner Services team who are on hand to provide tailored advice and support, and our course tutors with years of industry expert knowledge. Our strong teamwork approach at college means that our staff are dedicated to providing you excellent guidance and support to ensure that you excel.

All of our study programmes are designed to provide you with everything you need to progress – including interview practice, CV writing and industry relevant work experience alongside your course – making KCC a fantastic place to learn.

Joining us in September will mean that you are among the first students to study in our new campus. The new campus will have outstanding facilities that are designed to make your learning experience meet the high standards that both employers and Universities are looking for. The new site will provide fantastic training spaces and is designed to give you comfortable spaces for private study, as well as relaxing and catching up with friends.

Additional support

Knowsley Community College is committed to the success of all its students and can provide the specialist support that you need. Any reasonable adjustments will be made to enable you to access your course and the College, and to help you to achieve.

Expert staff can provide help with study skills, Maths and English, and we offer a range of other services for students with visual and hearing impairments, mental health issues, dyslexia, ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorders), personal care and physical support needs. This support takes place in a variety of settings in the College, from the classroom, Study Centres to the quieter one to one areas. We also provide a range of assistive technology which is accessible through the Study Centres.

    • Princess Drive is our state of the art, low-carbon campus and is the base for the college’s Construction and Engineering courses.

      Located a short distance from the Roby Campus is the Princess Drive Campus – our Centre of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing and Technology. Dedicated to the development of industry standard skills, students who study here take advantage of state of the art equipment that is used in many manufacturing and technology organisations, making their KCC qualification extremely desirable to employers.
