Welcome to The Clarendon Academy

Welcome to the Clarendon Academy Sixth Form

We are very proud to be delivering high academic standards within a broad and balanced curriculum. This is a very caring and supportive school community in which the Sixth Form plays a pivotal role. Our focus is excellence in all that we do and excellence for all our students.

We have high expectations for all our students who enter our school sixth form and offer a wide range of Advanced level courses to ensure maximum choice. We aim to provide an outstanding learning experience and to prepare students for the future demands of Higher Education and the Workplace. Although our high level of academic success is the key objective, the Sixth Form works equally hard to help you develop your skills, character and level of independence. Students interested in applying for Oxbridge or Medical School have an individualised programme tailored to their needs to give them every chance of success in these competitive areas. All students will receive excellent careers guidance in their post A Level options.

A very significant number of the year groups stand for election for School Prefects, and all students participate in some way as leaders and role models, or as organisers of school clubs.

We will support students as they explore their learning with confidence and creativity, and encourage them in finding a positive sense of achievement and fulfilment. Indeed all our students experience a range of opportunities when they leave us, and move on to an impressive range of degree courses and careers. Overall, our Sixth Form not only enables all students to become young adults who are prepared fully for the demands of university and employment, but they are life-long learners.

We believe yours is an exciting future, together we can work towards achieving your goals.
