About us

ACES - Aims and Objectives

The Adult and Community Education Service works with community partners, schools and employers to provide a wide range of part-time learning opportunities.

There is a strong programme of life-enriching learning activities, which take place in day and evening centres.

The ethos of the service is an inclusive one in which efforts are made to ensure equality of access and success.

Facilities available

  • Where there is an identified need Additonal Learner Support (ALS), can be provided to support learners to succeed.
  • Eligible learners can access 16-18 bursary monies to support them to achieve.
  • Coffee bar/cafe facilities are available at most venues.
  • Childcare facilities are also available at some centres.
