Welcome to Isle of Man College
"To serve the Isle of Man Community through excellence in education and training"
We all learn differently, some people learn best by reading and listening. Others prefer to learn by doing things. In making your decision as to which course to study think about your own preferred way of learning and try to find a course that best suits your particular style.
There are so many choices and it may seem very confusing, but don't worry! There are plenty of people who can help you with your decision. If you are still at school you will have the opportunity to visit the College on one of our Taster Days.
The College does not accept students under 16 on courses unless this is recommended as an essential part of their education by their Head teacher. Mature students are encouraged to approach the Island's Careers Service or contact us directly at the College for more information and advice.

The Student Services Department is here to help you enjoy your time at College and support you in your studies. We recognise that things that happen to you outside College have an impact on how you cope when you’re in College; we can offer advice and guidance to help you through the tough times, enjoy the good times and plan for a great future.
Our staff are available during the College day and some of our services are accessible in College holidays too; we also have specialists who come in on specific days, for example a counsellor, careers advisor and College chaplain. If you have any concerns about coming to College or are worried about anything you feel we may be able to help you with, please contact us and we will endeavour to answer any of your queries, and if we can’t, we’ll put you in contact with someone who can!
